Virgola Spumante Rosè by Drusian, oysters of the day, fluke & mango ceviche, mortadella, mozzarella di bufala, & shrimp cocktail in a very cozy, sexy alley way turned wine bar. Very special & unique!!

Adorable wine bar in the west village. The artichokes were insanely delicious, as were the scallops. They also have Trebbiano, which for some reason is hard to find in NYC.

Highly recommend the scallops and $1 oysters. The wine suggestion the owner made was also great. The restaurant is pretty hidden so we were really happy to stumble upon it.

OYSTERS. Virgola is a small Italian wine bar with $1 oysters all day, and it’s a great place to go on a casual date. They also make a killer negroni.

Super cozy and intimate. It used to be an alleyway into a factory! Ask Joseph (owner) to show you the original stone sidewalk flooring.

Beach point oysters are some of the sweeter variety you can get. I got a bit of each of the varieties available but it changes pretty much daily.

This oyster bar is in no ordinary building—it’s tucked into an alleyway from the 1800s, which was uncovered and carefully restored. The outdoor-indoor barrier is certainly tenuous here. Read more
