Kat L: Best happy hour in DC! Get the salmon, eel, and fatty tuna roll with scallion. Rainbow roll, shrimp tempura are a close second. Yellowtail was a nice addition. Spicy tuna roll was only okay.

Mykl Wu: It's worth the wait (and only acceptable way) to sit at the kitchen/bar. Order the naughty bits: tongue, trotters, and hamachi jaw. Fried thighs and monk fish liver also amazing.
Leandro Lagera: Ankimo - Monkfish liver with a great yuzu vinaigrette. Such a nicely balanced dish. Read more.
Liz Taylor: The Mero is a must, and the sashimi is fresh and delicious. But those mushrooms were so good I almost smoked a cigarette when I was done.

Jessica Huff: The wait here is extremely long on the weekends, but the food is excellent! Try the lemonade fried white fish -- you won't regret it!
Sigalle Barness: The Bread & Broth was fantastic in a drown yourself in garlic kind of way. The Crab Dip was delicious and the fish tacos were perfectly crispy and light with the right amount of citrus and sweetness.

Amb: Ahi tuna (unmarinated) is fresh! Get the sriracha aioli, sweet shoyu, or wasabi shoyu for classic spicy mayo, soy sauce, or wasabi-soy sauce flavors. Seafood salad is too fishy and underseasoned.
