I'm so impressed by their breads! Taste, shape and etc. A must try, calm chowder bread bowl, made of their famous sourdough! You'll will never regret it. The chowder is not alot, but the bread is.
They serve Four Barrel Coffee. Excellent espresso and pour over. They also have fresh made bread. The cinnamon toast is fantastic.

Bread, croque monsieur and morning bun are delicious!!!!. Desserts were underwhelming. We tried 5 different desserts and didn't love any of them. Definitely worth the visit for the bread!!!
Everything is stellar, but if you want a good start, the croissant is distinctly perfect, and a loaf of country bread is the definition of good artisinal bread

The best bread is country bread n i think star of mission district. You should try to eat plain croissant(regular). And also they have bakery restaurant.

Tons of amazing bread. All different kinds freshly made. Had to buy a sourdough while in San Fran. You can't go wrong. All fairly priced and if you don't know which one you want very helpful staff

Try the grilled cheese with bacon - #kvpinmybelly : Amazing cheese over crusty bread. Had kitchen add bacon. Also, the Yukon potato soup w/ bacon oil was yummy!
The bread here is a joy - beautifully simple with a crust has a nice crunch and the inside has the perfect rich, tangy flavor. And the duck? Eye rollingly good.
