Let me tell you a secret: the best sushi in Chicago. It's a small little place, but I assure you - anything you order here will be delicious. On top of that, it's BYOB and the staff is super awesome.
On our must-order list: lemongrass beef lollipops with spicy chili glaze and kobe beef sashimi with truffled vinaigrette. (And keep an eye out for celebs like Jeremy Piven, a fan.)
Amazing sushi and inventive Asian. Kalbi wraps are a must, any sushi with truffle is also a go to. Skip dessert.
The sweet potato caterpillar is the best vegan sushi I've ever had! I love their vegan menu.
With a sashimi platter we got a variety of fish, which all were fresh & tasty. This is one of few places that I can get plum wine (umeshu), which I suggest if you like sweet wine.

Buy sushi from here, it's fresh and delicious. Also you can buy in bulk for pretty cheap, I highly recommend ordering in Korean if possible.
It's cash only but for $1 sushi n less than $5 for most of the maki rolls it's well worth it! N did I mention the fish is extremely fresh n delish!

If you like eel, they have three varieties of nigiri. Get the Eel Trio Nigiri where you can sample each of them. They're each delicate and near-perfect.

Crunchy Spicy Calamari Roll, it's not on the menu but it is far and above the best roll I've ever had in my life (and I've been to Japan and every other sushi place in Chicago!). Best Spicy Tuna too!
