Amazing stadium. You can get in sometimes when there are no games for tours, the store or one of the restaurants.

Hotel was the thing in the late 70s. Not much has changed. Literally. Still a solid hotel choice for downtown, particularly if there for an event at the stadium or arena.
Best hotel location wise if you're attending an event at the Georgia Dome. Free wifi. Nice rooms. A bit pricey, but worth it for convenience.

1999's Philips Arena, home of the Atlanta Hawks & the Atlanta Thrashers, is marked by a large number of advanced TV screens that showcase the namesake electronics company.
This is a small venue, in relation to stadiums, so it's a great venue for concerts when you want a more a more personal experience with the performer(s).

Great value: Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra on some Sundays. Only $10 and seriously some of the finest musicians in the U.S. Great way to support the symphony and our future orchestral musicians!

Go for the kids combo...for under $5 u get popcorn, drink, and candy. Perfect portions and price for adults!
You can validate 2 hours off your parking right before you exit the cinema to head downstairs. Just look for people qeueing up near the exits at a time stamping machine.

Cajun Tavern Chips. Cajun Shrimp Pasta. Both excellent. Great place to eat. Will definitely go back if I ever get to Atlanta again.

There's a great view of the new Mercedes Benz Stadium. You don't even need to buy anything to go up and take a look.
