One of the best airports I use. You can be out within 20 mins of landing in business and first class if you use the egate facilities

Shiri LaraJune 21, 2015Pro tip: if you buy water for your flight at duty free you can not open in it and take onto your flight. It has to be sealed with a receipt to bring on board. Just chugged a 2 liter.

AndyJanuary 9, 2020T1 shopping is average, duty free and a few premium brands like Boss and Burberry. Plenty of restaurants. Lots of baby change locations. Smoking lounges too.

The smoking lounge at C7 has recliners at the back end of the lounge. Sit back, watch planes take off and smoke away! #smokingkills 😅

If you plan to buy a hookah, don't get it while in Dubai, wait till you leave and buy it at the airport. Cheaper, authentic and tons of varieties!
Anda ArkoOctober 3, 2013Free wifi is one of rare things around here, even most hotels charge you for that. Duty free staff is annoying, always breathing behind your neck (I am checking a perfume not your breath, ffs!).
maxspot is the free wifi log in name. after logging in to maxspot go to browser open homepage it will direct you to airport transport page. Once you see that page you can open any apps or surf the net

I think the best place in Dubai is the smoking area of the lounge in A area of Airport Terminal 3.

Satya MishraDecember 6, 2014Free WiFi is for 1/2 an hour use only after that you need to pay. Time will start after the connection so disconnecting say in 5 min and reconnecting later won't work. ( Boingo Hotspot/ DXB Free WiFi)

Tavon .July 20, 2017The airport is nice. Smaller than Abu Dhabi but has nice shops and an open long hall type of seating area by departure location. The wifi is limited though which is a minus.

Yuen May TohAugust 8, 2014A huge airport to walk around. Wifi used to be bad (almost no wifi) but currently you can use the wifi (30 mins free) by signing up once and you can use the same ID and pw every time you stop by.
Jeddah and Madinah flights check-in counters are always B43-B52 even if the screens at the airport entrance are showing "all counters"

If you are departing from the A gates try Cho Goa restaurant . By far this is the best spot to sit , use your laptop , and grab a drink

Huge airport. Make sure you check which gate you're leaving from in good time as you may need to change terminals. Connecting trains will take you between but take time.
Lina MINovember 1, 201224 hours check-in for Emirates flight, free Wifi, showers and lotsa of prayer rooms. Still prefer shopping in the souqs than here. All in all, not a bad place to be when transitting.

Modern, large and high technology airport. Use sky bus for cheaper alternative transfer to city center, easy and convenience
mamechanNovember 10, 2013If you are flying with Emirates economy class, I recommend you to check in online in advance if it is possible. Otherwise, you have to stand in a looooong queue at the check in counter.
