GourmetLive: Cocktails at The Gibson are worth the wait. The Salad Days Sour is a blend of celery-infused pisco lemon & celery bitters streaked with burnt cinnamon.
Bob Specht: Great spot to duck into during a busy night on U St. Yes, it really is through that door! Every cocktail tried was superb, and service was enjoyable. Intimate but pleasant time.

Andrew Doll: Awesome selection if whiskey cocktails with multiple versions of an old fashioned on the menu! Each interesting and worth it! Happy hour is oddly short, but lasts all night on Mondays!

Dee Gee Bee: Great place, cool cocktails! Many of the drinks were foreign to me however the bartender was great in explaining what everything was. We went at 7p on a Saturday and were able to get a great table!
Hal Mackins: Neat bar themed after the famed Civil War general, with antique photos and silver lithographs on the walls. Cool cocktails, including a "Gin & Pine" with a not-often-seen pine liqueur. Refreshing!
Behrad Eats: Love the ingredients they put in the Barren Hill cocktail: rye, sweet vermouth, Laphroaig, pistachio syrup, and saffron tincture.
