They have Big Red made with sugar! I love the corn pudding, and you can't go wrong with the moist brisket.
The moist brisket is incredible, there are great margarita pitchers, shiner on tap, $3 PBRs, karaoke downstairs on Wednesdays and old school country on Thursdays. Perfection. Avoid the potato salad.
Friendly staff and amazing food. The brisket and pork ribs were excellent. Chicken wings were the unexpected surprise - absolutely amazing. Finish it off with a pie! Only thing missing is sweet tea.

This place is is hard to find. Follow the pig into the social club door. Best BBQ I've ever had. Brisket is a must but also the rib tips. Can't recommend enough. Sandwiches are dope

Place is real old school. All freshly cut meats (brisket, turkey, top round, ham). Build your own sandwich. Sit @ the counter & chat up a long-time DC resident or municipal worker. Very diverse crowd.
Whoa. Get the Brisket or Top Round, horseradish and a side of gravy for dipping. Yeah - gravy. You can't go wrong. A bit on the expensive side but this place is awesome.

Great sandwiches - try the Italian or the brisket. The clam chowder is also a solid option, kind of a mix between Manhattan and New England styles (plus bacon!).
Italian (maybe ask for light on sauce) and Brisket are fantastic. The roast pork also looks/smells fantastic. Homemade pickles are good too and large enough to share.

While the atmosphere and beer selection is refreshing, the pork sandwich lacks a smoke flavor, even with the slaw topping. The brisket is the better sandwich, give that a try.
The food does go fast but it is very fresh. Try the brisket sandwich with an Old Fashioned just a good combination

The pho here is amazing! Make sure to get the Spicy Lemongrass Pho Beef Special that offers Beef Eye Round, Well Done Brisket, Flank, Soft Tendon & Meat Balls.
Stick with the regular pho, if you're looking for soup. The eye is better than the brisket. Fried rolls are really good, too.
Despite all the tips about lemongrass, don't skip the regular phò. The delicate broth here is delicious. I like the #11 dac biet special with everything.
