The pie is incredible, and the service is great. They gave me a sample of cinnamon almond pie just for walking in, and it was absolutely delicious. Great BBQ too. 5 stars!
Friendly staff and amazing food. The brisket and pork ribs were excellent. Chicken wings were the unexpected surprise - absolutely amazing. Finish it off with a pie! Only thing missing is sweet tea.

Tasty BBQ brisket sandwich, pulled chicken, baked beans, corn pudding and corn bread, among many tasty sides. Good choices for the kids too. Only downside is cramped space. More conducive to take out.

Lots of good things here -- I'd start off with the Popcorn Soup, get the ribs and, share the chicken family style.
Highly recommend the brisket, strawberry pasta, and Vietnamese pate to share. Also recommend the foie gras dessert. Everything is delicious here!

Place is real old school. All freshly cut meats (brisket, turkey, top round, ham). Build your own sandwich. Sit @ the counter & chat up a long-time DC resident or municipal worker. Very diverse crowd.
Whoa. Get the Brisket or Top Round, horseradish and a side of gravy for dipping. Yeah - gravy. You can't go wrong. A bit on the expensive side but this place is awesome.
crispy salt cod, grilled rabbit sausage, brown rice bread, lamb ribs, cannolis and 'out of the lodges shadow' were all yummy! we thought the cavatelli was ok, but a delightful dinner nonetheless.
Everything we had was fabulous! We started with the rabbit sausage, then had the potato ravioli with cabbage, and finished with the lamb rib to share. The service was impeccable and cocktails on point

Great sandwiches - try the Italian or the brisket. The clam chowder is also a solid option, kind of a mix between Manhattan and New England styles (plus bacon!).
Italian (maybe ask for light on sauce) and Brisket are fantastic. The roast pork also looks/smells fantastic. Homemade pickles are good too and large enough to share.

It's hard to go wrong with any of the constantly changing options here. DC Empanadas, Red Apron, Mason Dixie, Maketto, and the BBQ Joint are some of my favorites.

Pies at this Hill-staffer gathering place are best when leaning toward the creative, including an outstanding barbecue pizza topped with smoky shredded pork, cheddar, and fried onions.
There are so many great things about this place but if you are looking for a great slice of pizza, get the Colletti's BBQ, you won't be dissappointed!
