We recommend: Cheese and black-bean pupusas; yuca, fried and topped with pork and a vinegary slaw; carne desilada, a platter of shredded beef, avocado, rice, and beans.
Excellent Fresh Home Made Food, anything on the menu is fresh and really tasty, they take the time to prepare it. Try the deserts as well.
Had several tacos here. The carnitas, the carne asada and the shredded beef Very nice. Even sampled the breakfast burrito. I'm a taco snob and these people are pretty good.
Great tacos and right off the National Mall to stop and get a couple tacos. The Pibil is awesome.

Value Meals, offered in the deli section at all locations, are a great deal. For $6,8 or 10, choose a main dish of chicken or pasta + 2 non-protein sides for $6, vegan +2 for $8, meat/fish +2 for $10.
GREAT place for lunch and on the go. Bathrooms to the back and right. You buy food by the pound. Great options for everyone, meat lovers. Vegetarians. And Asian food selections.

Good options for vegetarians. The salad or hot bar almost always has a tofu dish and it's pretty tasty.
This is one of the best Chinese places in DC. Get the Sichuan specialties -- dry fried chicken with hot pepper, beef in tender hot sauce, etc. fried dumplings delicious.

The wait staff is amazingly attentive and quick. The guacamole is fabulous, as is the salsa. We had fajitas & were impressed with the freshness, quality and price. One of the best Mexican restaurants.

One of my favorite places to eat a burrito. The grilled steak is delicious, and the El Gordo is great if you've got a friend... or are really hungry.
Outstanding papusas. Loved the cafe de olla. Good drinks, do the mango mule. Everything made fresh and tasty.

Best dishes: tuna cheviche, brussels sprouts, camarones (shrimp), braised short ribs, chile en nogada (pablano stuffed pepper) and for dessert... de tres leches (amazing). Also get the fresh gauc.
