Anton Shuster: Get the squash tortelloni flavored with chestnuts, barilotto cheese and sage. Also try the rigatoni amatriciana and the seafood mafalde.
Melody: Charming new restaurant in Van Ness. Everything was delicious! From the amuse-bouche to the cherry and vanilla gelato. My seafood pasta dish was incredible - so tasty and the perfect portion size.
Megan Lilly: Great, authentic Italian! They make their pasta in-house. I've come to this location for dinner and recommend the three pastas to try family style. They also have another location on New York Ave.

Washingtonian Magazine: The handwritten menu and the array of antipasti change daily, but some gems do reappear. Thrills on a recent menu included meatballs studded with pine nuts; ultralight arancini; chocolate polenta cake
Washington Post: *** stars in Tom Sietsema's Fall Dining Guide 2011. (Tom recommends the lobster with shaved artichokes.) http://wapo.st/p4oJKa
Caitlin Perlman: Leave yourself at the mercy of the servers. Whatever they bring to the table will far exceed expectations. Fantastic meal and wonderful service in what feels like a good friends dining room

Rob Atkinson: A Washington classic. Low lighting and small tables, good for intimate conversations (or political scheming, as the case may be)
Tammy Gordon: Great spot for a clandestine meeting. Enter through lobby. Door downstairs to left of elevators. Concierge has phone chargers.
Jordan Balderas: Extremely disappointing for foodies or cocktail enthusiasts. Maybe it was an off night. However it may be, it was not the best hotel bar of America.
