Neat bar themed after the famed Civil War general, with antique photos and silver lithographs on the walls. Cool cocktails, including a "Gin & Pine" with a not-often-seen pine liqueur. Refreshing!
Love the ingredients they put in the Barren Hill cocktail: rye, sweet vermouth, Laphroaig, pistachio syrup, and saffron tincture.
Cashew nuts with rosemary are a great nar snack that pair well with the whiskey cocktails here.
Lamb meatballs were delicious! Make friends with Zeb for great discussions about liquor.
If you're feeling fancy, I recommend the Japanese whiskey, hibiki Japanese harmony. Goes down a bit smoother than other types of whiskey. Speaking of whiskey, they do make a mean old fashioned!
The best liquor bar in DC. Nice staff, nice cheese and meat plates. You can have a talk with your friends in pretty romantic atmosphere so worth to go!

My favorite drink at the Gibson is the Pampered Moose - elderflower liquor, vodka, grapefruit juice, prosecco and a giant orange peel. Wonderful citrusy aroma - can't go wrong!!!

A lifetime of eatting artifically flavored foods has made me avoid certain flavors, but sorbets here are made with fresh fruit. Try the mojito, grape, banana.
