Delicious Hong Kong cuisine. Marble beef, scrambled egg with shrimp and lemon tea (so different from European or Russian tea w lemon!) are strongly recommended

Very traditional Shanhainese place in an old Mansion in the French Concession. The honey mustard prawns and honey glazed beef are my two recommendations. Wine list is lacking though.
Mayonnaise shrimp. Hands down the best
Must order: xunyu (Shanghai smoked fish), sautéed fresh river shrimp, huangyu (deep fried yellow fish w seaweed), and banmian. If you're brave, the braised sea cucumber in sweet sauce is excellent.
It's a very traditional and small place. Shrimp dumplings are delicious, but you need to get there early as pork dumplings are the first to be finished. The soups aren't that special.

pros: prawns in hot and sour sauce delicious, egg fried rice good, lovely service and staff. cons: vegetable cakes were greasy and bland, fresh juices warm, steamed cod was ok, bit over cooked.

Intimate Shanghainese restaurant with fantastic food, far better than the 3 stars it gets on 点评. Pumpkin chips with salted egg yolk is the best 'fries' I've ever had, drunken shrimp is excellent.

Ordered shrimp paste morning glory, shrimp cakes and beef green curry. Mediocre. Morning glory had no shrimp flavor whatsoever. Shrimp cakes are good. Wouldn't bother coming back though.

Yeah you can probably get better ribs, but they never disappoint and the atmosphere is great with a group. Mao's prawns and spiced aubergine as well.

Excellent place that I strongly recommend! According to my Hong Kong friend, it's the most authentic in town! Recommendation: youtiao wrapped in glutinous rice, shrimp dumplings and raddish cake!
Love the suckling pig and shrimp dumpling! Atmosphere with terrace is also quite nice.
