The Bento Box lunches and dinners are fantastic. I usually order the tempura & salmon teriyaki, but on a rainy day, there's nothing like tempura udon for Japanese comfort food!

One of my favorite stops when I'm in Seattle. Great selection of bento boxes and related supplies; fun import gift items for the kids, and a great bookstore next door.
So many things are good here. It can be a little pricy but you can get anything you need in this place. Very tasty snacks, fresh produce, ready to eat bento, bread, etc.

Some of the best spicy teriyaki I have found this side of lake Washington. What I normally get is a the small bento with spicy chicken.
Chicken teriyaki bento is a huge portion, and very yummy, for $11.99! Easy to miss this place, though — you enter from the parking garage, not the street. Almost no seating either; plan to take away.

The best Japanese grocery store around beats Waji by a Fuji Mt. size. They also have a great lunch deli and all the senbei snacks.
Their baked mussels are the best and if you make it for lunch, the shrimp and vegetable tempura bento box is delicious and satisfying!!

I come here for lunch and the bento boxes are great.
I recommend the seaweed salad. I also love the nigiri here (especially the salmon). The tempura is also really nice - crispy, but not too oily or overly breaded. Rolls are diverse and yummy.
Go during Happy Hour, the prices are way cheap and the rolls are all awesome! Get the I Love Crunch Roll and the spicy tuna.

Quiet sushi spot off the beaten path, but some of the best sushi in Seattle. Other items too - sushi is obviously a must and the calamari is a great app to start.
