Meaghan H: Our favorite SF chef designed a Parisian vintage style bar in the Marina next to her Michelin-starred restaurant. Worth a visit for a drink!
Wally N: Bizarrely bright lighting really undermines the 1920s vibe they are hoping for. High effort, but ultimately unsuccessful execution.
An Sheng: Get the beef tartare and brioche. Softest bread I’ve ever had

CP Shades linen tops and Clare Vivier bags
at this enchanting, souk-like vintage-and-

Jenny Ung: LOVE their jewelry collection. I always want to buy something during every visit, which gets me in trouble bc it's usually $$$$. My favorite is the quirky & cheeky pin collection 👏🏻💯💖

Michelle K: My favorite part: perfumes and aromas of CA areas in little glass bottles. There's a little hidden store in the back with beautiful kitchen and drinkware, all imported from Japan.
Lucky Magazine: Picture a turn-of-the-century Oxford professor’s study (antique typewriters and books, plus vintage-inspired leather armchairs—all of it for sale) with a back room full of Warby Parker glasses.
George Hayes: Try out Warby Parker glasses here.
15. Whitechapel

600 Polk St (btwn Eddy and Turk St), San Francisco, CA
Cocktail Bar · Tenderloin · 112 tips and reviews
Liz McLean Knight: Ask for the full menu, skip to the back and order a vintage cocktail to understand the history. From the people that brought you the erudite Smuggler's Cove, this time it's steampunk and gin.
Nimalan Mahendran: The Purl is quite good. The Bramble is also very good. The gin list is ridiculously long. The decor is incredible - very steam punk and faithful to the London Underground.
Eater: Whitechapel is definitely a shrine to gin. With over 400 types of the spirit on the menu and 120 cocktails that include it, the steampunky bar will certainly be a calling card for all gin lovers.
