I recommend the red curry steamed mussels. Once you tasted the curry, you can't stop sipping. It's on the menu as a starter but the quantity is ok as entree.

My favorite meal while in San Francisco. The cioppino was amazing. Place gets really busy so plan ahead. It is a little cramped inside but well worth the food! Staff was great also.

Sangaria is legit. Bread with the Orange colored sauce tastes very good. Steamed mussels were a let down.
The orange dipping sauce goes with not just the bread, but with everything! So good!

Afternoon tea for two, with champagne was lovely. Had the 100 anniversary tea...loved the florals and warm scones :) The Pear finger sandwich was my favorite.

If you can only try one clam chowder while in SF make it this one! And the steamed mussels are amazing.... skip the grilled cheese and get the mussels instead!
Classy and delicious. Oysters are some of the finest in the city and the selection is superb. Not inexpensive though. Wait list can pile up, so grab a beverage at the bar before you step in line.
