Bring a blanket, picnic, frisbee or football, some pot, camp out on top of the hill at Church & 20th and watch the boys, dogs, parrots, and hipsters in the park below, and the magnificent city view.

Awesome stadium, if you sit in the lowest section, there's a great food+beer joint at the corner of the park at ground level. Also: you can enter through there and avoid the lines
The North Beach food stand on the lower level had the best beer in tap and the chicken garlic sandwhiches are the best deal in the park!

The Shoe Garden is a little-known locals’ secret. Make your way to the top of the park and look for a garden shed to find dozens of shoes with flowers or grass growing in them. #vday
Check out the East half of the park for a great view of the Painted Ladies/downtown & the West half for a beautiful sunset! Then go back to the other side for a beautiful view of downtown at night!
This is a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon with friends and wine. The southeast corner of the park has the best view and grass for lounging.

Great park for picnicking or just hanging out in general. Went to a movie night here and while crowded, it was still a great time.
We love to sit in the shade here during the day, it's a friendly park, good for groups, families, or just to relax on your own.
From the park across the street from the Painted Ladies, you can get a fantastic photo of the old Victorians with the city in the background.

I love it when it rains and the people living in the the park desend from the hillside and take cover. it's like watching a nature show!
