Xiao long bao (soup dumplings) are awesome. Try the beet ones.
Pork xiao long bao is a must, but the sleeper hit are the beautiful deep red tom yum flavored ones.
Fantastic dimsum, defintely try the Shanghai Pork Dumplings. x2 the price of anything else, but you get more of them and they are fantastic. Down in one go from the spoon with some vinegar and ginger
Authentic Dim Sum with every dumpling you can imagine. The restaurant's capacity doubles on the weekends, but weekdays are definitely the best time for a meal, for a full menu and half the crowd.
Best dim sum restaurant in SF. I like Shanghai Dumpling, Shrimp Dumpling, Pork Sui Mye, Peking Duck, Lettuce Cup, and Coconut Cream Roll. Tsingtao Beer or chinese tea are good match for dim sum.
Get the shanghai steamed soup dumplings and the beijing dumplings. Wasted trip if you don't get those. Trust me.

Shanghai-style pork soup dumplings, pan-fried potstickers, and the garlic bok choy are all yummy. And the hot chili oil makes everything better.
The garlic green beans and soup dumplings are amazing; Two must-orders! Also had the onion pancake and spinach/egg dumplings, which were good, but not as amazing as the soup dumplings and green beans.

Tips are spot on. The Soup Dumplings and the garlic string beans are delicious. Small restaurant and it was pretty full at 2:30 on a Weekday.

Spicy beef tendon, pig ear, beef noodle soup, and dumpling soup were all top notch. 🥟🥟🥟 are made to order and you can see the ladies rolling and wrapping them.

Shanghai Dumplings, sesame balls, deep fried meet dumplings are fantastic! Everything else on dim sum menu is really good too. Great for Sunday brunch.
Best dim sum east of Masonic. Spicy cold noodles, beef chow mein, soup dumplings, green beans, lava buns, bang bang chicken - that's just my order for 2. Every single dish on the menu is on point.
Outdoor table when you are 2 , come early and taste great dumplings and fresh draught beer. Only locals. CASTRO and Upper Market :)
Very tasty and authentic dumplings to go. Would definitely go there again. Paid $7 for 8 small and 1 huge dumpling.

My new favorite place in the sunset! Authentic Chinese food, delicious dumplings and noodles--I'm partial to the beef tendon and spicy beef (one of the specials on the wall, not on the menu).

This place is amazing! We ordered a million apps for a group of 6 and loved everything! The crab dip is to die for, the corn fritters are life changing, and the dumplings are awesome! I'll be back!!!
Corn fritters are good but not as good as the other amazing plates. I recommend the shitake mushroom dumplings, the duck stir fry, and black pepper beef!!! Wonderful!!!

Skip the zhajiangmien. Great dumplings, wings, and shenjianbao. XLB have tons of soup but not my favorite
