Despite the initial feeling of excessive hipsterism, the space is spacious and airy, coffee best in the city, fun people watching, nice baristas (yes, really).
Really beautiful split-level space with really excellent coffee and great sweet and savoury pastries. Watch the coffee being roasted and bagged while you drink.
No Wi-Fi. Great place to read and get work done unplugged from Internet. A pour over of any kind and the atmosphere will definitely get the creativity going. (via @elatlboy) Read more.
Go to Blue Bottle Cafe and order an SG-120. Off the menu. Best coffee in town hands-down. You won't go wrong w/ cappuccino, espresso, hot chocolate or anything else there either. Read more.
I tried the latte and the iced coffee. Both were great, but the iced was a little harsh and citrusy. The latte was smooth and caramelly, completely perfect. If I go again I'll get the latte.
Gorgeous interior, stunning light. Amazing coffee, I recommend the flat white. Cool stereo system, lots to look at while they make your coffee.
Definitely the best latte I've had in San Francisco, and the sausage roll was delicious -- perfectly seasoned and the pastry was flaky and tender.
