An assortment of vegan cupcakes. Expect to find flavors like red velvet, pumpkin, and black-bottom cupcakes in addition to traditional favorites such as chocolate and vanilla.

This place is packed for weekend brunch for good reason. Fluffy omelettes and farm-to-table produce keep locals coming back for intimate meals in the rustic brownstone.
Pretty good food if you can maintain your appetite with the really nauseating acoustic adult contemporary playing. Personally, it was a struggle.
I grabbed a caramel Frappucino with soy milk before seeing "Cabaret" and it was really great. Definitely the best I've ever had at any Starbucks. The barista was also really sweet and friendly.
Coffee every morning
They have moves to an eminently better space across the street at 1700 Broadway. All the favs remain very good.
Surprisingly inexpensive drinks by the pitcher. Try the Cava Fresca with vodka, fresh berries and cava!

Amazing assortment of all snacks and sandwiches. Good take out (go sit in Central Park) but also nice seating. Yummy pastries, good sandwiches.

I recommend sitting in the lounge area, it has a very relaxing feel with feelgood music. The place has calm dim lighting. A great place talk.
Established 1920s(?). Antique fixtures(?). Was brothel, speakeasy and gambling parlor across from old police headquarters. The system was so corrupt a tunnel connected the two buildings.
This is where they filmed Sex and the city. It called Scout in the show.

Grab an outside table during the warmer months and enjoy a pitcher of sangria with a Beef Burger or Steak and Eggs. Relax, it’s the weekend, who cares if the service is slow.
