Naomi N.: Fast, cheap, and yummy! Get the fried pork dumplings, a beef pancake and a side of kimchi. While there are many dumpling spots in Chinatown, Vanessa's is consistently the best.
NY Waterway: Soo good! Fried Pork dumplings are my favorite. I would highly recommend this place if you like Asian food. Very yummy
ZenFoodster: Great bang-for-your-buck boiled veggie & fried chive & pork dumplings & roast beef sesame pancake. Try a lychee smoothie & avoid the sushi.

Talisa Chang: Get an array! Pork and crab soup dumplings, the tiny pillowy fried pork dumplings, and the firm Szechuan pork dumplings. Round it out with a nice bright plate of choy.
Erin: Scallion pancakes and steamed pork dumplings are great! The hot & sour soup is super spicy and is a meal in itself!
Eugene B: Hands down best soup dumplings in the city. Inevitably always end up ordering pan fried pork dumplings as well. Despite being a Shanghai place, the Har Gows are great too. Go at noon to skip the line.

dawn.in.newyork: Fried pork dumplings is delicious, and it is like gyoza. Could be a nice appetizer or a great side dish for a ramen.
dawn.in.newyork: Love the calm atmosphere here and spaghetti-like ramen noodles! My fav is TONKOTSU broth. Never forget ordering homemade fried pork dumplings. But avoid chicken wings...
Jessie Catana: Must try the pork dumplings! The tingly beef was great too, flavorwise. The noodles themselves are sub par but flavor was on point. Definitely coming back

Avi Flamholz: Up there with Prosperity Dumpling for the best dumplings in Chinatown. If you order anything other than the #1 at lunchtime, be prepared to wait 5 minutes. Good thing #1 is fried pork dumplings.
Nick G-M: The cabbage and pork dumplings are tasty and cheap. I prefer them to the pork and chive.
Maia McCann: This place is legit. No frills. It's about the tasty dumplings. Pork dumplings with chive (boiled) makes a pretty killer lunch for under $5. Kind of crowded and awkward inside so take it to go!!!
Vani Prabakaran: Its hard to find good chinese food without going to Chinatown, but this place is awesome. Try the szechuan pork dumplings, one of my favs!
Chaz Antonelli: Best appetizer: Sichuan Pork Dumplings. Medium spice, awesome taste! Avoid Crispy Fish Filets, greasy and too much breading - go for Braised Whole Fish instead. :-)
Teresa: This is the only Chinese restaurant in the UES I'll frequent. I would recommend sticking to their Sichuan specialities such as Ma Paul Tofu, dan dan noodles, Sichuan pork dumplings, etc.
