Nicole Ribaudo: This place is amazing, highly recommend the labneh, frena and the shawarma spiced fries. And a side of toum!

Eater: Brunch here spans from classic French to classic Middle Easter cuisine. Menu includes shakshuka, kafta benedict, and an "Au Za'atar Breakfast," served with eggs, pita, & a selection of mezze. Read more.
Dens: Foursquare tips did not do us wrong -- kebabs are great, cauliflower is great. The pita & hummus & olive oil you get right after you sit may be the best part tho. a bit pricey. I bet brunch is killer
Village Voice: Get a taste of the traditional Arabian French vegetarian dishes. Have the fatteh al-betenjane ($13), eggplant topped with toasted pita bread & smothered with garlic yogurt sauce and sautéed pine nuts. Read more.

Anna Tovkun: The kubeh were delicious. We tried 4 types: the fish, mushrooms, lamb and beef with the hamusta and beets broths. All were excellent but the lamb was outstanding. Try the baklava too!
T S: The hummus for appetiser is pretty good but the Kubeh was nothing special..
Fran: Great service & a moderately price wine and cocktail menu. The cauliflower was delicious and loved the kubeh with a few combos to choose from... will definitely be back

Fritz Heckel: Mujaddara croquettes, kibbeh, the surprisingly fresh-tasting babaganoush — even if you never get past the first half of the menu, there is plenty to love. Glad to have this spot in the neighborhood!
John H: Nice decor and delicious appetizers. We had the taboleh salad and it was the best one I ever had in the city. I tried the musachan as an entree, it was outstanding as well. Will be back
Saleem: Vegetarian dishes were lackluster. Cauliflower was ok, Mahshi ehh. Restaurant seems half done (e.g. tables in rear are under stark lights and over vibrating machinery in basement). Too bad.
