Patri PR: Loved the modern art exhibit. Egypt, the Bizantine and the American Wing are a MUST. Go to the rooftop to enjoy a great view of Central Park and Manhattan's Skyline. AMAZING.
Louis Matta: A staple of the city. Many fantastic exhibits, can easily spend a full day inside.
Alexandros Plexidas: Huge museum with tons of exhibits to see from civilizations all around the world. Would easily take 5 hours to see everything. However I would recommend their "painting" section as a must.

Melissa Cameron: The Journey to the Stars Exhibit is a wonderful and worth the extra money. My 8 and 9 year old sons loved it! The entire museum is incredible. The dinosaur exhibit was a favorite.

NY Waterway: We love these exhibits! The museum is a little further uptown, but well worth the trip!
Sarah Nelson: The architecture is awesome, and the exhibits are fascinating. Visited in March 1998, when Art Honor Society @ WHS had their field trip. It was the perfect day, especially for me when I was just 15!
Lauren Mac: Loved the Archibald Motley exhibit and the overall design aesthetic of the Whitney. Lower floors are still being renovated, but the open ones weren't incredibly moving. Stay for the views!

Jeff Tomczek: Easy to get to off the 6 (20 min from Grand Central) and entirely worth the trip. Beautiful building and timely special exhibits like Hurricane Sandy photography and City as Canvas. Shop is cool too.

Oz Lubling: one the best museums in NYC with top, super high quality exhibitions. They often have art exhibitions for famous artists like man ray or eva hesse that fly under the radar. Seek it out, it's worth it.
Robyn: Free on Saturdays. Amazing Kehinde Wiley exhibit going on right now on their 2nd floor that you should definitely check out!
Tatyana Fisher: One of my top 5 favorite museums in the city. Their exhibitions are top notch, led by knowledgeable guides. This museum is always the highlight of my trip.
Ryan Hamilton: If you're here for a specific exhibit or event don't leave without taking a walk through Morgan's private study and the library. Absolutely astonishing rooms.
Affinia Hotel Collection: The Morgan Library is a beautiful example of New York City Gilded Age architecture, with a number of exhibition spaces for rotating art displays.
Kira Garvin Lerman: Fabulous permanent, rotating, and traveling exhibits. Some of the rotating items include US treasures such as early drafts of founding documents.
Julia Lord Nickle: Beautiful space with unique exhibits. Check out the bar in the evening!
caroline sistare: So many fun artifacts and good information. Even with the main exhibit temporarily closed, the front hall and the movie alone are worth admission. The train exhibit is perfect for the holidays!
