House blend is awesome (medium roast). Oslo also has extra dark roast beans to brew at home.
The Americano is delicious with chocolate undertones (the house blend Thor is terrific). The Orange Brioche is heavenly and the perfect companion to a great cup of coffee.
I feel like I'm cheating on Joe (The Art of Coffee), but...this is the best coffee on the UES.

Best coffee in Tribeca. For lunch try one of their excellent salads or the chicken guacamole mango wrap or the chicken kale pesto panini.
Quick! Over there! Observe the rich TriBeCa mom in her natural habitat. Perfect Nike Frees, running tights and nursing a post workout skim latte at 923 am. Don't move quickly! You'll startle her.
Great cafe on all counts. Shame it is the defacto spot for Citibank employees from across the way to steal away and bitch about their jobs. It's like a counseling session in here half the time.
It's absolutely the perfect coffee shop. Cool, small quiet atmosphere with great music and the BEST coffee on the upper east side. Also their cold bean salad is out of this world!

This shop shows why Starbucks became a global hit. The guys here make you feel like home. It's not in all Starbucks like that but this one is really great!
During peak hours service is fine. Off peak, the Baristas move slower than molasses on a cold day.

Absolutely the best coffee in NYC—never had a better Latté. Skip Starbucks and give this place a look. Don't forget to check out the back room which doubles as a speakeasy.

Salmon Steak, Arabic Labne, carob covered raisins, Truffle Cheese - they have the items you can't find elsewhere. Olive Oil tasting downstairs and olive bar upstairs are both excellent!
