Eddie Yeti: The Bronte is a great burger. Love the ciabatta bread, Thai sweet chili sauce and juicy burger. Side salad is alright but I guess better than filling on fries. Tiny tiny restaurant, sit by the window.
Andrew Cerda: Anything with the sweet chili sauce goes in your mouth.
Alex: get the bronte burger with the sweet chili sauce on the side. oh, and an order of truffle fries too!
Chop Suey Club: Authentic Szechuan food! Get a fried whole fish or fish filet in chili sauce, mapo tofu, shredded cabbage, and you'll need rice.
AmateurConcierge: Really great authentic. A surprisingly nice setting. The bass in chili sauce is fantastic, water spinach was really good. Mapo tofu had too much Szechuan peppercorn did my taste. Noodles quite bland.
Brian Strauss: Excellent. Szechuan dishes are the focus here. Mapo tutu and Lazi chicken are the bomb. Get it with some long beans and some dumplings with chili sauce.

Benjamin Palmer: Great place. Check in early and get a beer and come back. Try Dan Dan noodles, wonton with chili sauce, and dry pot with lamb if you like it spicy
Lori Luo: The dan dan noodles and dry pepper chicken wings never fail. Add on a protein in chili sauce (shui zhu rou) and double cooked pork, and you're set for a good meal.
Jordan Vojta: Dumplings in chili sauce are superb!
Jessica Li: Spicy Harissa falafel with spicy peppers & spicy chili sauce. & pickles. (The best combo if you're into spicy foods!) #betterthanMaoz
Kirti Patel: Ask for a side of their spicy green chili sauce!
Sajid Mehmood: After you've had a few different flavors of the falafel sandwich (green and harissa are my favorites), go for the sabich (sa-beech) sandwich. Fried eggplant, with a sliced boiled egg. Delicious.
Holly: The sautéed chicken with red chilli sauce is great
Dex Wood: You must have the calamari. I love the way it was seasoned; unlike any I've had before
Cecilia Schudel: Love this place. Delicious pad see ew, tamarind fish, curries, soups... But vegetarians beware, not all their "Vegetable" menu items are vegetarian!
Mai: Get the pho #2 with the green chili sauce on the size 😋
Bradley Kay: Less-heralded gem of alphabet city: a bodega with a really excellent selection of snacks and drinks (lots of Asian and rarer American choices) plus the best fresh-made sandwiches
nymag: The P.H.O. Real, one of our 101 Best Sandwiches in NY, takes on the considerable challenge of reinterpreting a bowl of Vietnamese soup as a kaiser-roll sandwich - and wins.

Alex Kesling: Try the Dukbokki (sauteed rice cake in red chili sauce), the contrast between the crispy outside and chewy center is delightful.
Luc Doan: Bo ssam, rice cake+kabocha+shishito pepper, military stew. Great food, reasonably priced beer, good service and a very cool vibe.
Sarah P.: Great spot for lunch in k-town: ~$10 menu (cash only) and good portions. Seafood noodles and farro bibimbop (강된장보리비빔밥) are delicious. Spicy noodles and pork katsu are good too

Auri Ghatak: The mapo tofu here is the best version of it I have ever had. Can't go wrong with the fish and sour cabbage soup, lamb with cumin chili sauce, green beans w veggie buds
Aileen Chu: Most authentic Chinese in Midtown E. / Upper E. Side. Try the cold appetizers such as Spicy Beef Tendon or the Sesame Noodles. If you want to be adventurous, order the Spicy Wok Tossed Duck Tongue.
Jim Taylor: I love any of the fish options! But the dumplings and scallion pancakes are the true winners.

Chao: Go for its sticky rice and special chili sauce.
Eater: The menu includes things like crunchy coconut rice with sausage, bamboo grilled quail, duck laap, spare ribs, grilled chicken, and pork belly with quail egg. A really fun restaurant for date night.
The New Yorker: “Among the best dishes are a whole grilled quail on a stick, tasting like charcoal and ginger, and a steak tartare that’s served, Flintstones style, atop a giant bone filled with roasted marrow.” Read more.
