Black Walnut is a regular stop for my family, especially for brunch, at which they excel. I had the chicken fried steak and absolutely loved it + the gravy!
Wednesday is Steak Night...6pm-10pm. 16oz Ribeye and baked potato for $14.. Crawfish is Tuesday(5-9), Saturday and Sunday(2-7).... Its only $3.75/pound baby... Can't beat that...

Excellent 20 oz. rib eye with Caymus on half-priced Monday’s. FYI: The menu is still too long. You can’t possibly do/keep fresh 7 pages of menu items all equally well. Jus sayin.
I enjoyed their lunch special that included excellent chili and caesar salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy.
