Great park for walking or jogging, but not during 'Prime Time', between 4 to 7pm or so, during the week..parking is a bitch! Use the bathroom at the clubhouse before walking..avoid portapotties!
Great 3 mile jogging track. Usually plenty if parking with the exception of the area around the club house and tennis courts during peak hours.
Recently moved to Houston and this is a great park to do just about anything I've already been bike riding and jogging and it's wonderful! I highly recommend it's a great atmosphere too
Salata has ,by far , the best selection of ingredients . Your salad is made to order exactly how you want it. Keep in mind that parking at lunch time is tough.

No matter where I live in Houston I come to Star for pizza. There is just no good reason to go anywhere else.

This is a good place. Parking is an issue. The chili cheeseburger is HOT! Made me tear! And it drowned the taste of the burger. Good energy

I love having an awesome nature park smack dab in the middle of the city and right down the street from home. Lots of trees, picnic tables, walking/bike trail and 2 kiddie parks all rolled in one!
Best place for kids to play and release their energy, lots of space for relaxing and having a picnic.

The food is very good, but it's pricey for the amount that you get.
Their namesake cocktail is pretty good! Their hush puppies appetizer hits the spot as well if you're in the mood for a snack.
The tacos are very good and plenty of parking at lunch time.

The shrimp and grits taco is bomb! If you see the holy clucker taco special, get it! The margaritas are pretty good too.
Excellent wine selections! My menu favorites are the Santa Fe Salad, Sausage & Mozzarella Kolaches,the Humming Bird Cake. Memorial Drive location is open until 1AM Fri. & Sat. with a full service bar.

Their tacos are awesome! My fave is the Cuban Taco. Other popular ones are: El Rey Taco, Ropa Vieja Taco and Rotisserie Chicken Taco. Lemonade is made fresh and horchata is really good!

Top quality meats, excellent sides, impeccable service, and a really nice space. The meat is cooked to perfection, unlike any other place in the in the city. Try the prime aged ribeye.
Maybe the salad was better but we went thru the drive-thru n wasn't given a fork! I had service animal n ate with my son in parking lot. Thankfully wasn't going to a park or somewhere other than home

Parking was terrible but the fajita nachos made up for it in spades! Sit at the bar for a quick dining experience or wait for a table for a wonderful Tex-Mex dining experience.
Fajitas for sure! If you aren't into Fajitas but like the Carne Asada order it, you will not be disappointed. Love having the charro beans with chips.
