The chorizo with cheese and fried fish tacos are the ones to order. Amazing. Hated the California burrito which I got based on someone's reco. Very bland.
Sweet potato may not sound like a great taco filling, but it’s fantastic. Fried cod tacos and potato taquitos are also great. Reasonably priced, excellent service and nice atmosphere to boot.

Best eclectic Mexican food in L.A.! Hamachi tostada with Uni is a great example of how they do a fantastic job of mixing new ideas with fresh ingredients.
The fried fish plate is my favorite. Also great with scallops or shrimp. The swordfish with double coleslaw instead of fries, love it!
Charboiled Fish is done to perfection. Personally prefer these more than the fried fish. Always get the Sea Bass w/ Garlic Butter Sauce.. So EFFIN good!

The badass chicken tikka is delectable! The papdi chat is simple but satisfying. Cutting chai is aromatic with cloves...and the fish fry just melts in your mouth!

Proper New Orleans sandwiches here. Shrimp, Shrimp and Oyster, fried catfish po' boys and more. Order on the left at the checkout and pick up on the right by the tables. The sandwiches are huge.

Banchan here gives whole fried fish! Super busy place, even on a mon night and may need to wait a bit.

The fish tacos here are great. I ordered the Baja fried fish tacos and the fish itself was sizable, light, flaky,delicious, battered to perfection, crisp and not too oily. Fresh ingredients as well.

I had the grilled shrimp & fried fish (filet of sole) combo with red beans & rice & a salad. The portions are sm. for the price, & the beans were bland. My husband enjoyed the oysters. Not for me.
