Brisket was delicious and well seasoned. Wasn't the most tender I've ever had but was very good. Pork and beans and collard greens sides were both great.
Best BBQ in LA! Most people skip the chicken at joints like this, but don't. It has SO much flavor. And don't get me started on the collard green!

If you don't have a reservation, you may get turned away at the door. Luckily, we were able to get a table & it was worth it. Dorowot & Yebere Siga Tibs were delicious. Beets & collard greens weren't.

The mac 'n cheese rules & the collard greens are scrumptious! Great corn bread! I'm a vegetarian, so didn't go for the meat, but the mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes & black eyed peas looked great too!

The black-eyed peas and collard greens are just like Mrs. Jackson used to make, minus the pork products(=vegetarian). THe workers are super chill and nice.
Their menu is delicious. It is a rose among thorns in the community. Trust me if you go once you will go again. A pleasant atmosphere with an outdoor patio . Definitely in my top 5.
