I'm a pizza snob originally from PA & NY & dislike most CA pizzas. I had the NY cheese pizza, with basil, & I highly approve of this delicious pizza...I couldn't stop eating it! Also good reheated! ❤

The pizza is great. Don't bother with pepperoni if you don't want the oil dripping down your arm. It can be a bit much. The cheese pizza by itself is outstanding.

Opened 1945. East coast Italian. Moved in 2006 into the former space of the defunct Old Heidelberg. Amazing original 1958 vintage interiors & lounge.
Calf liver appetizer is excellent. Leek and goat cheese pizza is not the best. Get a spot next to the oven and watch them make the pizzas!

I bumped into Rami Malek here and he had lunch right next to me. Great lunch deal, fantastic ravioli, mediocre goat cheese pizza, juicy grilled salmon and super cute servers.

i love their cheese pizza & there tomato/mozzerella cheese pizza & garlic breadz there too & also the employees there are friendly. $3.50 a slice but yeah: so worth it
The veggie pie with goat cheese etc was good didn't have the thin crust but it was all good get the 2 slices &get a free drink. I enjoyed the experience fresh ingredients etc I may be back soon!
