Fantastic little place. Totally worth the wait. Breakfast sandwich is solid and the rice bowls are delicious. Ricotta toast is insane, too.
The sorrel rice bowl was delicious (you might consider an extra egg), the buckwheat pancake was also unique, on the way out grab one of the coconut, date & seeds balls for a tasty treat with a coffee.
French toast!!! Also the sorrel pesto rice bowl. The French toast is huge and the jam that comes with it is (in my opinion) a great alternative to syrup.
My favorite sushi place. Try the red tuna lolipop (no idea what its called - gorgeous presentation), the albacore on fried onion strings is ta die 4, yes, spicy tuna on crispy rice, baked crab - yum!
Perfect meal is spicy tuna crispy rice, baked crab handroll, albacore with crispy onions and jalapeno yellowtail. YUM.
Spicy tuna with popcorn shrimp and crispy rice, extra-crispy, are both still amazing. Adding separate popcorn shrimp appetizer was even better. The 4 1/2 roll was good too.

Awesome new Northern Thai restaurant in Silverlake. Order the off menu fried chicken sandwich topped with papaya salad, crispy rice salad, khao soi gai, and Penang curry.
Larb & crispy rice salad are amazing. Food tastes super authentic.
Although you can't go wrong with any of the menu options, the crispy rice is definitely a must have amongst your other options.
'Koi Crispy Rice' and 'Spicy rock shrimp tempura hand rolls' are not to be missed. And tuna sushi was also top notch

The "Trust Me" sushi / sashimi combo is just perfect. Fish is incredibly fresh and melt in your mouth tender. And the rice - that beautiful, warm, fluffy, loosely packed rice.
Old school Japanese style sushi. Crispy seaweed, warm rice and fresh fish make perfect hand rolls. Set menus are nicely paced and bring satisfaction to the taste buds.
Simple menu to navigate. Sushi, rolls and sashimi are pretty much all there is. Excellent quality, housemade ponzu and soy, rice melts in your mouth. No dessert. The wait is about 45-60 mins.
Really enjoyed the Trumpet Mushrooms with the 3 cup rice. The mushrooms were earthy and meaty which paired with sweetness of the whole garlic cloves. The chili peppers added a hint of spice.
Favorites: scallion pancakes, pork dumplings, beef noodle soup, three cup jidori chicken, beef roll, & the best deal- $6 minced pork with rice!

It's like the Korean version of Sqrl, but no pastries. I had the kimchi fried rice, which had layers of flavor and a yummy pineapple fermented juice kimchi to add to it's delicious complexity.
Kimchee fried rice sounds like it would be plan but it's yummy! Lots of flavors and a little on the salty side. Small ish portions.
Trust me: You'll love it! I lived in Japan a year & this is in my top five sushi places. Love the simplicity and the warm rice with delicate sauces. Just TRUST Nozawa! He does it uniquely right!
Get the Trust Me. Super fresh and the rice is warm :). It's in a strip mall but super yummy.
