Food is usually consistent. Service can be slow. Crowded, loud but fun. I eat here often. Exceptionally crowded when DPAC or baseball park open. Parking: limited, deck. Year around outdoor seating !

Parking is tough. The official entrance is located behind Githens Middle School on SW Durham Dr just past the school soccer fields, but the trail to the park is very long.
Great park for young and old alike. Love the "nouveau construction" style. Parking can be tricky. . park across the street in the church parking lot, cross the street and walk down the sidewalk
Just park in the Githens lot and take the Old Chapel Hill Road sidewalk over to the park.
bring a swimsuit and towel for the kids in warm weather- water feature play area! great city park... originally designed as a 9 hole golf course, so wide open spaces for soccer, frisbee, running!
On very clear nights, the fields farthest from University Drive can provide some nice urban stargazing (unless the DPAC spotlight is shining).
It's a nice park but if it's rained recently there is a lot of standing water and very muddy
I've had 3 stylists and they've all been fantastic. All L'Oreal salon which gives you really healthy, shiny, bouncy hair. They gave me a free hand parafin & massage today. Ahhhhh.
As of October 2013, they no longer accept gratuity on credit cards. Make sure to bring cash to tip your stylist or esthetician appropriately!
