Micah Chiles: Great new seafood joint from the Mateo team. Oysters were fantastic. Standouts: chowder, collards, octopus (small portion), and black bass. Skip the ribs
jiresell: Delicious seafood! Great raw bar and oysters. Try the snapper entree over dirty rice!
Dana D: If a restaurant could be a seafaring vessel, St James luckily docked in Durham to revel in. A perfect amount of gilded ambiance inside. Nuanced oyster list from local and afar with delectable mains.
The News & Observer: The chalkboards usually list a half-dozen or so N.C. fish and shellfish, which you can get as a sandwich or a plate. Read more.
Luke White: Fish plates are seasoned perfectly, amazing slaw and potatoes. Loved the snapper and clams.

Kelly Bowen: Awesome food! Definitely try mussels.
Allison Berels: The wine was the best part of the meal. Had all the things the waiter said were the best and they all were not very good. Crab cakes were the best part of the meal.
Michael Huber: Menu is clearly labeled to what is gluten free. I had the clams and chorizo, lamb, and the grilled squid squid ink rice. Really loved the sauce for the clams and chorizo.

Matthew Cloues: Best crabcake in Durham.
Lee Raymond: I'm there almost every Sunday for breakfast. Good quiche, good eggs florentine. Good service, reasonable wait time for food, given how crowded it can be there. They take reservations.
Dennis O'Dell: The food is good, but don't go with a large group, the staff gets flustered and makes mistakes.

Simal Soydan: It is one of my favorite restaurants in Durham. Tasted the moussaka, crab cake, tzatziki, sagavaki and beef tenderloin. All were delicious but I personally recommend the moussaka. It was delicious.

Linda Roggli: Everything is good here -- spaghetti with red clam sauce, the meat sauce and of course the Cheese Steak Special. A "Cheers" kind of local food place where you stand in line to order. Great prices.
Dennis O'Dell: Don't expect fine dining here. The Italian Pizzeria is a family-owned, hole-in-the-wall restaurant in the tradition of NYC and Philly. The daily specials are all worth trying, and the cheesesteak ho
