Claire Luhman: Great park for kids to play games, a picnic, family gathering or just a morning jog.
Lyn Lomasi: Good sized park with plenty open space and play space. Also some fun hideaways along the trails. Just watch out for the coyotes, who are most active at dawn and dusk.

Nicole McKinney: Best zoo I've been to. Animals are really active and there's a great Asian culture exhibit where the elephants are. Also: find the semi hidden food truck!
HISTORY: The Denver Zoo has long been an innovator in re-creating realistic habitats: Bear Mountain, built in 1918, was the first animal exhibit in the U.S. constructed of simulated concrete rockwork.
