Carrie Rigdon: Exceptionally fresh, simple, flavor-focused food. The octopus salad + vegetarian options - spring spaetzle, lentil "brik" were excellent- plus a great wine and digestif list. They even had vin santo!
Andy Ninh: The lamb dish was incredible (highly recommend medium rare)! Everything else I tried was delicious. I also recommend the brussel sprouts and umami doughnuts. My only complaint was slow service.
David Benjamin: The donuts of the day are definitely supposed to be explored! 😋

Fernando Covas: One of the best for fresh, healthy, and simply prepared seafood. Whole grilled fish is the way to go, as is the octopus. Don't overlook their veggies: try the horta (braised greens), okra, and beets.
Explore Chicago: Greek Island is the staple of Greek Town, importing wines, olives oil, oregano, honey and olives straight from Greece. Try their distinctive lima beans and Colorado lamb.
ben m: The whole staff is great. Tons of great options. Some favorites: saganaki, Athenian salad, broiled salmon, Lake Superior white fish tail, gyros (extra tzatziki). Hot Lima beans may be the star.
