Larissa: My darling friends: try the beer cheese soup. Though I do not speak so highly of very many things in life, this soup is truly worth your time.
Brad Taylor: Egg in the whole is the perfect fall brunch. They use the cheddar soup as a sauce. Just sayin'.
Erik J: While the beer is good, the cheese soup is by far one of the best items on the menu.
Jessica Lear: Brunch is amazing! Get the kurdish breakfast for two. Also-- anything with lamb for dinner. Their lentil and goat cheese soup was amazing. We keep going back!
Staff Picks: The colorful and eclectic cuisine of Kurdistan finds itself in Chicago for the first time at this sleek-yet-cozy Lakeview spot. Lamb and eggplant set the tone for dinner and weekend-brunch services.

Dana Jensen: The giant pretzel was delicious, the staff pick wheat beer was fantastic the beer cheese soup was tasty. My salad, however, was very disappointing, as the figs were cooked to charcoal. Skip the salad.
Theodore Jackson: I loved the brunch plate with eggs, weisswurst, potato pancakes (apple butter!!), and toast!
Jake Smith: The potato pierogies are a delectable appetizer. The portion is probably only enough for two people. They glisten in photographs.

Arlene Andernetti: This place makes my belly smile.
Time Out Chicago: Try the Oatmeal-chocolate bread from our 100 Best list: There was nothing molecular or fancy about these thick slices of homey, chocolate-studded cake. There was, though, something special about them.
Amy Graff: Awesome tiny loaves of soda bread with whipped butter. Get a Snake Bite and anything that comes with the chips. Chili is killer. Can't wait to try brunch.
Serious Eats: The aggressively seasoned meat has a nice balance of lean meat and fat on their corned beef sandwich, and is made in-house.
