Fantastic choice for sushi in Back Bay. The sashimi and rolls were fresh, although the avocado was a bit browned. The salads were crisp and their version of house dressing was delightful. Not too $$
You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Esp the spectacular the otoro app, grilled black cod, the toro truffle maki, the spicy scallop maki, and the delicious nabeyaki. Great martinis, too!
Oishii has the most creative sushi in town - try the Kobe beef with pear or steamed lobster with cucumber and avocado. And it's tricky to find - look for two swimming fish etched into the front door.

For those who like veggie sushi: Idaho Maki and the Garden Roll are TO DIE FOR!!! I get Idaho Maki every time I go. The Garden Roll's a bit pricy, but worth it if you like avocado.
Really enjoyed the Idaho Maki as well as the Snow Mountain Maki, price was pretty reasonable as well :)

Finally a sushi place in boston that is really good and reasonably priced. Get the avacado ball, you will like it. Hand rolls are awesome there as well.
Great fresh sushi! Very small space to eat, but well worth it. Our waiter was extremely nice and went out of his way to make sure our food looked as good as it tasted!
Get the omakase. But if you're going a la carte, standouts are the hamachi w/banana pepper mousse, foie gras nigiri, tea-brined pork rib, onsen egg... everything is fantastic really.
The full menu is expensive but so worth it, arguably best sushi in America. Get a spot at the counter to watch the chef.
All-You-Can-Eat Sushi, Rice, Teriyaki, Crispy Crab (crab rangoons), Tempura, and more! Yummy! But the long wait for the food is making me real hungry! :( Currently waiting for fried ice cream!

Seats open up if you're patient although the earlier you come the longer you can lounge in the fresh harbor air & deliciousness. Great sushi but only a few other menu items on the deck.

Love this place! The hot pots are so good. They have a huge menu! I can get a hot pot while my husband gets the pad Thai & we can both get a couple sushi rolls to go with. Everything is fresh & yummy!

The standard sushi fare is just ok but their lobster BLT roll is GREAT. They also sometimes have Heady Topper.
