Grits beef stew is amazing!
My first time trying Somali food - SO good!! We had the grits w/ chicken & a side of chickpeas/spinach, delicious. If you like curry, definitely put this on your list.

Get either rigatoni, veal, or pork! Everything I have had so far at metropolis was very delicious! Both wine and food at reasonable price. One of my most favorite restaurants in south end!

late night food - served until 1:00am. Steak Frites stays on the menu all the time (and there's a reason), but the rotating specials are the way to go! Try one and you won't be disappointed.
The Franklin Cafe has O'Hara's Irish Stout on draft for $5 and they serve really good food until 1:30am. It honestly doesn't get any better than that.

The Chicken Fried was a great sandwich (the potato salad spread is awesome!), and you can get tots or fries on the side instead of the salad (although the salad is quite delicious).
