Fantastic old theatre, sight lines are great as are the acoustics, the seats are tight though and the lobby can get very crowded.
Decent theater. Not the best views from the sides, typically tiny seats.
This venue is closing for at least a year as Emerson University tries to figure out what to do with it. It might turn into dorms, classrooms or a new dining hall.

On March 2, 1978, Geena Davis was hanging out in the lobby at the BU Theatre during the intermission for "King John."
On February 10, 1957, Belmont Junior High School Girl Scouts went to the BU Theatre to see "Carmen." It seems that seven of the girls did not get the memo about wearing identical coats.
Great for picnic, chair rental $5, get there early for good spot and pre-show concert. Twelfth night was excellent.
The show was awesome. I recommend everyone come see it!

Great venue to watch a ballet. I've sat in almost every section & never a bad seat. I love all the the marble work & chrystal chandeliers. Gorgeous theatre. They also check ALL bags at the doors.
DO NOT TAKE PICTURES. It's that simple.
Seats are a little tight, but the experience over all is excellent.
