Every time I go in to this restaurant, I'm always debating from having the fish tacos to the shrimp cocktail both dishes are delicious.
Warm chips and salsa are fantastic. I loved the chicken mole and fajitas.

Great california beers. Try zeus, centennial, citra simcoe. A dreamong trip through IPAs. Awesome also Harvest moon. Top wheat beer.

A Bakersfield gem! Delicious! Fish tacos, fajitas and micheladas to drink was our choice this visit and it all exceeded our expectations. Great service and ambiance.
Choose a custom combo of any 2-3 items on the menu, but make sure a fish taco is included. Salsa was fresh, spicy & delicious!

Busy on Friday nights, so call ahead. Good idea to order a burger, I ordered fish tacos- not a hot idea. Tacos were a little bland, but I would give them an A for effort. Taste B-.

Taco de lengua is definitely something to have if that's something you like. Nothing here is bad
Cash only! The al pastor is crazy good. The lengua has the perfect chewy texture and it doesn't bite back.

Excellent Mexican food in Bakersfield. The fish fillet with chipotle sauce was delicious. Loved the pot beans and rice garnish, as well. I'll be checking this place out again when I'm traveling to LA.

Pulled pork tacos - 'nuff said! Also recommend the Fried Pickles & the potato wedges. If you want more, I was quite impressed. Great food, friendly & attentive service, and a good beer selection.

Moved here from the border and I have never been to a place in Bakersfield that has as good of mex food as La Villa it's legit!

Visit on Taco Tuesdays for $1 tacos and 1/2 price apps available in restaurant as well as bar. Server will provide taco tickets. Chilie verde nachos are very good, but eat quickly or chips get soggy
