They have great desserts. I love their mini-sized (and mini-priced) Cole Slaw and Yukon Gold potato salads. They are very tasty and well worth the paltry 95 cents!

Even though it's just off the interstate the rooms are incredibly quiet. Very friendly staff, comfy beds. This is the only hotel I'll ever stay at in Bakersfield.

Do not get the strawberry ice milk! It taste like sand paper!!!! But chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream is amazing!!!

Grampa Jim's Banana Split is massive! It says it's for 2 people but really it's meant for 4.

The cafe has great food and better service! Michael is a certified Starbucks barista. Can't make all the drinks, but makes them well.
It's ok. Especially like the 91.00 AARP rate. We like the fact that there is a restaurant, bar, pool/spa and the beds are comfortable. Yeah the carpets need replacement wear flip flops, I always do.
Pit beef is the way to go!
