You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but I highly recommend the Spicy Fried Rice with Chicken. Spectacular!

Walnut shrimp is mouth-watering and so delicious! This has to be one of my favorite places to go eat. The prices are cheap and the service was great. A must!

Great food!! Not so great service... My friend had to wait 15 minutes for a water refill and our server didn't really check on us. But the blue elephant fried rice and the pad Thai are amazing!
The mango stick rice (dessert) is delicious! Roasted Duck with Red Curry and Pad See-ew are just okay. Smokin' Seafood and Coconut Paradise (picture) are not worthed.
Everything on the menu is absolutely amazing! Best curry in town! Very romantic atmosphere and a great staff!
The good here is so amazing! The salsa is just the right amount of spice and the rice and beans are awesome. My favorite dish is the chicken taquitos they are always warm and taste fresh.
Try the chile verde. It's so good. :)

Excellent Mexican food in Bakersfield. The fish fillet with chipotle sauce was delicious. Loved the pot beans and rice garnish, as well. I'll be checking this place out again when I'm traveling to LA.

For frightened new comers, the skewer with rice is a safe choice. It's just rice with meat. It's a side item, but it's a generous side item.
Lunch Sandwich Special is a steal -- $7.95 for a pita sandwich, drink and side! I recommend the shredded chicken shawarma sandwich with salad is the best (the fries are highly addictive, too).
Lunch specials are the bomb!!
Try the special burrito and mix the beans, rice and hot sauce they give you with the chips, unbelievably good!

lovely servers & good food! I ordered 2 much tho. Dinner for 1 = dinner for 3. I'm not a fan of bean sprouts so I order rice (not a noodle dish). I was sad when fried rice had lots of sprouts.
A Bakersfield classic. This has been here foreeeeevuh and is a great place for just about every occasion. Like everyone else, I've got my favorites like the Kung Pao Chicken and the soup.

Low carb tip - Mexican is tough for low carb but get the fajitas without beans and rice - very tasty! (Hard to ignore the chips and salsa though!)

Not sure if it's just a Thursday thing or all week, but $2 margaritas until 7 is spectacular! Add in good food and pretty attentive service and it's hard to go wrong.
Great sushi chef and it is so addicting.
Lunch is less expensive. The filet mignion was excellent.
