Stylish, but not elegant like the Oak Room used to be. Still, the new concept is a crowd pleaser! Sit at the big, cozy bar chairs and don't forget to say hello to the dog out front.
Trendy plating uplifts decent but not superlative worthy food. Qualifies as a pretty good hotel restaurant. The space is beautiful. But $22 for a Hendricks martini is highway robbery.

The Charlesmark Hotel is my first choice when I come to Boston. Why? The rooms are stylish, clean and quiet. The wifi works. The staff of the hotel and the bar treat me like a friend. I stay often.

One of the best menus for the small oyster bar genre. Lobster/waffle is a don’t miss. Also, get trendy with tinned meats and seafood on toast. Of course don’t miss oysters!

Lobster roll and snow crab roll are sooooo good. All seafood with some seasoning. Not mayo or filler and served on a buttered roll. Classic and delicious.
My favorite lobster roll of all time! Huge chunks of fresh lobster in a perfectly buttered roll paired with a handcrafted soda, cape cod chips and a pickle MMMM what's not to love.
